The Deadline and meeting the ex-owner and his mate

So, here was our deadline. It was early February and literally nothing had gelled as yet. We had two months to get everything done and Sal was so on top of it all that by the time she left on the 13th of April, she had sorted the house for the incoming tenants, got herself and the kids packed up, got one car to ‘Rentmycar.com.au’ and the other garaged and got out of there.

Kenny Karn AKA Tool!
On arrival in Preveza, I met Ken Karn, the ex-owner and his mate Brian Pattinson and as you will see, this was about the best thing that could have happened for us.

Brian has a sign writing business. On Ken’s recommendation I’d previously sent Brian the proposed new name for the boat and the font. Brian turned up with it all ready to go on and would not let me pay for it…

And there she is! Named after our second daughter.
Slightly bigger than our first boat which was named
the Carrey-Leigh after our first daughter.
Brian Pattinson renaming SpenAsh to the Summer Amy
