Sal in the meantime had had taken care of the house and
kids, scoured the internet for boats for sale in the Med, sourced agents for
renting the house, found somewhere for the cars and got us all sorted for a ski
holiday over Christmas in Canada.
She found heaps of boats, but one just kept popping up. A
Lagoon 440 on the hard (out of the water) in Cleopatra Marina, Preveza, Greece. This boat looked in good nick and
she had everything. Two large engines, generator, desalination water maker, ice
maker, 2 fridges, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 double and two queen
births, a dingy with a 25 horse two stroke motor and all the navigation
equipment I’d need.
